Cashmere is a thin, curved fiber that forms a layer of air that can defend against cold air from outside, preserving the wearer's body temperature.

 

Cashmere has no medullary layer, the diameter is finer than fine wool, the average fineness is more than 14-16um, the fineness unevenness is small, and the length is generally 35-45mm.

 

The strong elongation length and hygroscopicity of cashmere are better than those of sheep wool, which is slender, light, soft, smooth and warm.

 

Cashmere is more sensitive to acid, alkali and heat than fine wool, and the fiber damage is also significant, especially sensitive to true oxidants.

 

Cashmere is the finest of the animal fibers, which are closely arranged in spinning and weaving, and have good holding force, so it has good warmth.

 

Cashmere fibres are moderately strong, elastic and have a naturally soft colour.

 

The cashmere fiber has uniform fineness, small density, regular round cross-section, strong hygroscopicity, can fully absorb dyes, and is not easy to fade.
